Designed for small and growing manufacturing businesses, Sage 50 Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) enables you to create detailed bills of materials for products that are to be manufactured, including an unlimited number of components and levels of build and with any number of sub-assemblies or Phantom assemblies.
Using the Trial Kit facility you can easily identify shortages of materials and automatically place purchase orders in Sage 50 Accounts Professional, selecting from a list of alternative suppliers if required. You can also include machine and labour operations as well as sub-contract operations.
You can add a component to multiple BOMs in a single action (find and replace). Also, rather than consolidating cost elements at each level (e.g. labour and materials), you can rollup costs for each element.
